My Yorkie is 6.5 lbs. She is 2 years old. I do give sometimes greenies. I cut the 'petite' size in half. I only give her 1 full greenie a month. I do watch her while she eats it to make sure nothing happens. I too worry too much. I hope that this helps. Good Luck with your baby.
