I am so sorry for your loss and wanted to wish you luck in your search for a yorkie.

I am not a breeder, but I do live in Southern California and recently did a search like you are doing for a small female. You are lucky because there are actually quite a few good breeders in your area or close by.

I have purchased 4 small yorkies (under 4 lbs) in the past year. My most recent addition was a small babydoll faced little girl with big eyes, small ears and a silky full coat. She has the spunkiest personality and has been very healthy. She is now 7 months old.

I got her from Carol Shaver of Dessert Darlings out in Hesperia. I was referred to her by her friend, Cigale who has Elite Petite Kennels, Her website is epetitepuppy.com I think. You can also go to breeders.net and put in your zip code to find other breeders in your area.
