 3rd Bile Acid Test??
When we went to have Sweet Pea spayed months ago her blood work showed she may have a LS. Her Post Bile Acid levels were a bit high. So the vet rx'd meds and special food.
One month later we re-did the Bile Acid test and the post levels were down a little but still too high for the vet to feel comfortable enough to do the spay surgery.
Now its been almost 8 months and we are re-doing the Bile Acid tests. This will be the last time we do this as these tests are NOT included in her puppy insurance and cost me $80.00 each time.
I really want to have her spayed but NOT at the cost of her possibly dying. She is a little over 1yr and shows none of the signs of having a LS, plus after looking into the cost i know i could never afford it. If i was still working i would do it, but i was injured at work and now am on SSDI.
