About 2 months ago Maddy had to be hospitalized overnight due to having HGE (Hemorrhagic GastroEnteritis). She is doing great now, and they mainly had to restore fluids lost from excessive diarrhea, but now I am at a loss of what to do about her diet. Prior to the HGE, she was on Raw. My vet suggested that I give her Royal Canin HE Intestinal 28 (INTESTINAL HE | Royal Canin Veterinary Diet). Well, I followed the vets orders for the past two months, and she has done pretty well on the Royal Canin. My concerns with the RC, is the amount of food that they say she should eat daily... with the higher amounts of food, it makes me think that the food is a lower quality food. I checked the dog food analysis site, and it is a 2 star food. Not exactly ideal. She grew up on Innova and then transitioned to the raw.

What would you suggest to feed her, taking into consideration her "digestion/intestinal" issues? I want her to have a high quality, premium food, but want it to be easy for her to digest.

Thoughts? Suggestions? I really appreciate your help!
