Yes, I believe they hold grudges, even if not a Yorkie. Our Cindy was in a bad way about two weeks after spaying and even though the vet wouldn't say it, she had Parvo. The signs/symptoms were unmistakable and they put her in isolation.
At the start of a long holiday weekend we decided to take her home and she would either die in our arms or recover, since the vet had little to no coverage that weekend.
They brought her out and she refused to look at me, I petted her and she jerked away! Like, why did you bring me to this awful place? It took her DAYS to trust me again! We're buddies now and I can't even take a shower without her wanting to be right at the shower door. |
