It makes sense to me that the grey color your are seeing is the charcoal denaturant. Typically meat that is frozen is not oxidized yet -- that takes a day or two. Denaturant is used in meats that are unfit for human consumption, turning the meat grey and thus dettering humans from eating it. I know the Bravo pre-made I've used is that same grey color. I'm not sure about Primal but I know that Primal does NOT use denaturant. Either way, it's perfectly safe for your baby to eat!
