IMHO, I would put some water in a clean dropper bottle and just make sure to get under the upper and lower lids.... and when you think you've done enough, give him a break but go back and do it some more. I did get H2O2 in my own eye once, it does burn a bit and getting water in there cuts the strength of it immediately. The problem is that he can't tell you if it has stopped hurting.
