I use a matte powder foundation (especially in the summer) by Benefit & sometimes I do use one color for summer and a lighter one for winter when my color is a bit more pale:

get even pressed powder : Benefit Cosmetics

I also use these for concealer (under eye dark circles & any uneven spots):

Both leave you feeling like you don't even have makeup on...I can't stand that sticky grimy feeling of makeup anyway let alone in humid weather.
