This is definitely a very positive sign of worms in puppies. Younger puppies usually do not have a problem with their anal glands. I am sure at his first visit they will check a stool sample to see if he has any worms. Sometimes you can see them in their poop, especially if they are tape worms, or attached to the fur around his anus. Tapes look like little rice grains. Hope this helps.
