I have five rescues and I did the home cooking with them. I boil skinless chicken breast, brown rice and carrots and I chop it all up, like a can mix would be. I feed this to them at night and leave the dry kibble out all day. When they needed weight gain I would feed them the home cooked mix in the morning and at night. Now, being your little one is so tiny, you could actually feed her three times a day, maybe tablespoon portions, although my Brooke who is under 3 lbs. eats and eats. If I ever gave her a tablespoon she'd look at me like I had three heads. She can prob. eat three to four tablespoons. She's a good eater. Elaine
