I wouldn't, Tigger also did this. I don't know why, but it may or may not have something to do with the pheramones they spray on the pads to attract the puppies. sounds funny but it's a thought. instead everytime you see your pup do this, take him off the pad, tell him "potty on the pad", and put him where you'd like him to sleep and tell him once he's there "sleep here" after awhile he'll learn. But be persistent.
