First, I'm sorry that you had to go through this. I know you probably feel like you drove all that way, felt bad for the pup, wanted to make your kids happy, and were still grieving the loss of your other pup. But, you said that you saw the signs, but ignored them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck... well, you know. Unfortunately all of the signs were there screaming at you, but under your circumstances, you caved, which is understandable. I really don't know what to tell you, other than if you feel as though she really is neglecting her dogs, I would call your local ASPCA and tell them what's going on down there. Good luck... and PLEASE make sure you ALWAYS go with your gut instinct, especially when it comes to choosing a pet. Make sure that you go through a reputable breeder who has tons of positive feedback from other buyers, is only breeding yorkies, has the sire and dam on property, and that you feel 100% good about.
