I've got one of those flexible hoses with a shower head on the end. I just hosed him down with warm water in the tub and used some natural shampoo I got at the pet store. Lathered him up and then rinsed him off well then towel dried him. His coat is all shiny and soft now.

I've got one of those too and Tobie hates it!! He's actually really good with baths but if I get that thing anywhere within his reach, he tries to bite it. LOL.
