Coloring hair, sun, swimming in chlorinated water, and blow-drying all can be very drying on hair. I think finding the right conditioner is even more important than a good shampoo. I also love some of the products that help protect from heat. Some of the newer straightening irons, and electric rollers, can make hair look healthier after use. I've also heard some great things about products that just add semi-permanent shine. Cutting your hair short will just make it curlier. |
That's the thing it doesn't curl yet. I wish it would. It would make doing my hair so much easier. I have virgin hair. Never dyed it, and I blow dry it occasionally. I started straightening it when it started to not be so straight in places. It really is very strange. I stopped straightening it every day and just put it up in a pony tail 90% of the time. And I don't use gel, hairspray, or mousse often either. I don't like the feeling.
So... what are those conditioners you like? I'll try them!!!
