As much I want to believe the advertising that shampoos will change your hair, I just know they don't. I buy anything that says "volume" or "thickening" and my hair is always the same. You just can't beat genetics. If your mom already warned you of what's to come, I say just embrace it don't try to fight it. I hate my hair.
One of my bff's is the same. When we were in HS she had so much hair and nice and thick, and now it's thin and not a lot.
