If there are certain things you are looking for, like a certain personality, you might want to consider an adult. With an adult, you know pretty much who they are. My boy was one when I got him and was described to be a shy boy with lots of love to give. It was right on the money! He's a momma's boy through and through, a non-barker because he's so very mellow, but, when it's play time he plays and roughhouses like a puppy!
I have no advice on the kids issue. I don't have any and don't plan on any in the near, or distant future (at least that's where I stand right now  ). Yorkies are great and you'll just fall in love with this breed! |
Two of my three girls are cuddlers and one of my three boys are cuddlers.
I forgot to ask the op, how long would you need to crate the yorkie during the day?
