Then she went back to her litter mates and started playing and tumbling, kind of taking charge over the whole situation. Then she noticed my husband, and ran over to him to greet him, then back to the litter mates to take over again. She was the "docile" one I had picked out earlier, and WOW had she changed! What spunk, just like I wanted!
None of her litter mates ever stopped playing to greet us, so I felt it was meant to be, as if she had picked us out. She was just so personable with us.
Now, months later, I realize that she didn't pick us out at all. She is just VERY friendly with all people, and so excited to see everyone, even strangers. She's such a floozie! I like that she is so friendly, but she would be awfully easy to steal, so I really need to keep her "on a short leash," so to speak. |
Awww .......I had a good laugh at the floozie comment....tooo cute!!!!
Shay was only one left that the breeder had, and he had athis lil shaking thing going when he would get excited, so NO one wanted him...I found it simply endearing...LOVE at first site...he is the calmest, sweetest boy EVER.
We adopted Bella a few weeks ago, the breeder had a few to choose from...I wanted, number one, a female ( I love Pink..lol)..so there were 2 girls to choose from...Bella was just soo adorable and sweet, she gave kisses and more kisses, but was more calm then her sister, so I thought GREAT! since Shay is so calm.....LOL, boy was I wrong..she is a spitfire..lol..she has really been a breath of fresh air....Keeps me and Shay on our toes......
