The one dog that I mentioned that has a cited dna # also begins with a 'V' as yours did. The other dog I mentioned has a # beginning with a "P" and is not designated to be a dna# on the pedigree so I was wondering what that was.

Now I can't remember when the DNA requirement was put into place......so, dependent on when the dog you are speaking too, was shown, it may not have one.
As I mentioned the registration #s for your 6 generation pedigree will be listed and AKC allows you to research Registration #s without cost.....Let me do a memory jogger as to how to do that.
