Well, I breed but if i ever stop i would never have just one, i would keep a pair... and for i do not think the sexes matter so much, the temperament does, as long as bot doggies are sweet and get along you will have 2 "buddies" and that is awesome!
Both puppies are very cute. The number 2 has a very nice face ! but the the number one is also so cute if you happen to like the gold.
