Castor Pollux is 9 months now. When I got him the breeder recommended free feeding because he was a puppy and there are alway sugar level concerns and we want him to have a consistant eating place, so free feeding would teach him where his bowl was. Awesome.
I still free feed, just leave water and food out all day. Is this ok? What are the pros and cons to free feeding? and if free feeding is not good, how can I make him understand that we're switching to a schedule.
I just dont want to switch, go to put down food-- Castor Pollux thinks the bowl is back to stay and think he has until the end of time eating it.
