How old is little Knox? If he's a younger guy, you'll need to take him out at least once in the middle of the night, just like having to get up with a newborn baby. I would say that at least to begin with, take the little guy out at least once every 4 hours at night, but every 2 hours during the day. If the accidents in the kennel persist, block off half the area in the kennel with a box or big towel or something, so he won't have as much free space. dogs don't like having to potty in their sleeping area, so I think taking him out more would probably at least help.
