The first reply is a good one! When I don't want my boys doing something (typically not chewing...we don't have much of an issue with that cause they have 5 bazillion toys and chewies), they know what "quit" means, and it definitely gets used sometimes
Just remember to be consistent, and use a firm voice. If your pup is anything like mine are, they'll feel badly that they made mommy and daddy upset, and they'll quickly break the habit.
