I talked to the lady because she is in the EXACT situation Scruffs' old owner was in. She sounds really nice and I can see she loves her dog.
I told her she might want to contact the Yorkie rescue but I'm not sure who to tell her to contact exactly (phone or email of someone near Santa Cruz?).
