What an INTENSE event!!!!
I found myself leaning closer and closer to the computer screen as I read it. Oh, poor little Chipper! I can only imagine your terror when you saw blood on him!! To tell the truth, I wasn't expecting an actual attack, never even heard of coons actually going and attacking peoples pets, just trying to eat their food. I'm sure the brave little guy is getting lots of extra lovin' right now. I'm sure your husband was ready to burst with fury! Sure hope Chipper heals without complication. You must be so proud of him.
