I have a console carseat AND a large one that fits 2 furbabies for the back seat. My Yorkies like the console one much better than the larger backseat one.I think they feel more like they are riding with me in it than behind me.And since it is small I feel they feel safer in it.Also when they are not in it - like when I had to go to work.I would use it to put a apple in and a bottle of water etc, cover it with the doggy blanket to keep it cool (summer) like a mini cooler.LOL. It is a must have!
