Couple of possibilities: always profusely praise Castor Pollux when he does things right, and don't ever stop with the praise. Clean your rugs to make sure the scent doesn't attract him to return to the spot. Most people advocate using an enzyme cleaner to completely rid the spot of a scent that may be detectable only to a dog's sensitive nose. Good luck.
