Hi & welcome.... good question ~ My Harley does the same thing. She knows many tricks/commands. Sit, stay, chill (laydown), bang bang dead, spin, sit pretty, high five, praise Jesus, speak, crawl, kisses and walk. HOWEVER, will only do them on carpeted surfaces. I too have all hardwood floors with the exception of our area rug in the living room. I haven't figured out yet how to get her to do it on the floor....sometimes I think maybe she doesn't like lying down on the cold surface. Who knows!
Maybe someone else will be able to give some constructive input as we're in the same boat.
