Heres a quick pic of my Fifi on day 51. As I was holding her last night I had her up against my belly and was feeling the pups move. I could feel moving in my hand and also on my belly. Took me back to when I was pregnant and how it felt to have a baby moving around in you. Fifi has been getting special attention and is totally loving it.
Do you all leave food and water available through the night? Fifi's crate trained but as it gets later in her pregnancy she needs to be let out more often at night. And as of right now I have not offered her food or water during potty breaks. |
My girls are pad trained as well as out potty, I do keep a water bowl by the whelping box once i move them there, with Annie my new foster I just put a water bowl there for her and plan on keeping it there at all times.
her mama said that she is crate trained and brought me her crate so I am just going to remove the door and keep it in the pen so she can come in and out as she pleases. she is also pad trained so I hope she will get the idea, since my home and odours are all new for her.
Wishing your girl a safe and fast whelping..
