I only have one boy but my advice will be to take the day after their neuter off. My vet had me drop Kaji off at 7 am and pick him up at 4. ( I was there earlier
) He needed me at home the day after a lot more than the day of because he spent the day of being cared for by the vet. He bounced back from the neuter quicker than I had anticipated so keeping him calm and stopping him from bouncing around was what I spent 90% of my time.
