I would work out a way to divide up the house or separate rooms instead of crating any of them if crating means putting them in a small cage. How can you crate any dog for the length of time a female is in heat? Three weeks or more? That is cruel in my opinion. I think if you gate off the kitchen for one and maybe the family room for the other or something that would be better for both of them. Just an idea.
