I only have a yorkie, named Sugar.
She never barked until the 7th months, she has a total change of personality, from quiet to yappy which I have no idea why. Anyway I still love her so much, it's like a human baby, even they are naughty you will still love them from the bottom of your heart.
I wouldn't worry much about the personality, I only worry about hawks and coyotes..
