I'm certain her yorkie isn't "targeting the elderly." The point of that suggestion was so that he wouldn't continue to bark at that particular lady. Of course, it is a territorial issue. He considers that hallway his territory, but you have to attack these problems in increments. There is no way it can be solved all at once.
