My Myah, is just over 2 and is totally house trained. She goes outside. She was also crate trained and gets to sleep with me on weekends but is in her crate at night during the week. She has never peed or pooped on my bed.
I think you may be confusing her by having the pee pad on the bed. I personally don't like the pad training...seems that most people that do it that way, it takes them longer to be totally trained. Maybe I got lucky, but all my dogs were crate trained and were totally trained by the time they were 1.
