Barney and Daisy always used their little stairs to go up and down to their pad and they never leak on the bed. I think the little ones just need to keep being reminded of where the bathroom is.
They just think the whole world is their toilet.

Pixie has that exact same attitude--like the whole world IS her toilet! And when she does her business off the pad she'll run under the chair where I can't reach her before I've even seen the mess. So she knows it was the wrong spot but deliberately it.
I guess she isn't housetrained. I think dogs do better if trained to only go outside.
Mignon & Pixie
