NOT trying to defend the breeder at all here...but perhaps her scales are just different from the vets and she didn't *purposely* send home a puppy that small. I'm only saying this because when I got Gracie, the breeder said she was 1 lb 6 oz. that day. In fact, she weighed her in front of me, and the scale (which wasn't digital) said 1 lb. 6 1/2 oz. Yet, when I took her to the vet the following day, she was 1.06! There's a big difference between 1.6 and 1.06! But here's the kicker...to be honest, I didn't even realize it myself until the following month when I took her back for shots again, and they said "Oh, she's up to 1 lb. 4 oz!" and I'm like "Hmmmm, no, that can't be right, she was 1 lb. 6 oz. a month ago when I first brought her in!" and they looked at the records and said "No, she was 1 lb. 6/16th of an ounce then! 1.06!" Ohhhhhhhhhhhh! Well dummy me didn't realize that's what the weight was!

She's now 20 weeks old tomorrow, and 2.02 lbs. (that's 2 lbs. 2/16ths of an ounce for those of us scale challenged!) Ha!
