Please be sure he is tested for all health issues and that he is up to standard. You said on another post that he weighed 10 pounds? And is that him on your avitar? Did you cut him down, since it looks like he has very short hair. Sorry to ask, but it is so important that he would benefit the breed with his breeding. Also the female should also be tested and evaluated to see if she is to standard. I would have your guy neutered and just love him as a pet. His weight is over the standard (not to exceed 7 pounds) and not sure about his coat. There are other issues to check as well - confirmation (bone structure, movement), personality, etc... as well as health. Also once they are used as a stud you may have propblems with him marking up your chairs, walls, sofa, bed, rugs, etc... with urine to show this is his territory. Why haven't you had him neutered yet? There are health benefits if you do. :-) |
