Oh the poor thing...he is so young...that is probably the main reason he is crying when you are not there.... most breeders keep them till 12 weeks
When I fostered an anxious pup...I would leave the room (house) for a few minutes then come back... give them attention...& repeat this increasing the time I was away...but this was an older pup...not a little puppy
I am sure someone will have more advice..
