collars 24/7 with tags. They don't like it when I take their collars off. Harnesses go on in addition for everything else. The harness doesn't touch the collar so it in no ways interferes with it.
You can find coats and shirts with little buttonhole type cutouts made specifically for the d rings, then you can put the harnesses under their clothes, if you like.
I've read on here where once in a great while a furbaby escapes from the house when no one is looking and gets lost, it would scare me to have their collars off, even in the house. Thank goodness they love to wear them....I love the jingle of their tags.
