The only thing I can think of it being would be the liver (but I am by no means, an expert). I would make sure that the vet does a BAT (bile acid test) tomorrow. In doing this, you will have 2 numbers (one pre... then they eat... wait a couple of hours... and test again for a post number) to get the numbers. If it is liver problems then right now he has toxins built up in his body. Do you have any Lactulose? Humans can take it as well... or something else that will help him go to the bathroom? It will help clear them out (if it is liver shunt or MVD (microvascular dysplasia). For the rest of the night, do not feed him any kibble. If he is hungry, offer him lettuce, apples, bananas or something without protein in it, just in case.... is he still resting? |
