Darlene, I am just reading this. My heart is breaking for you and Bailey right now. I am praying that he is ok. We know how you are feeling, so PLEASE keep us updated on him. I hate it when you know your baby is sick but you don't know what is wrong and there is nothing you can do but be there to comfort them. We all just love lil Bailey!
I would definitely try to offer him some water. Check his gums and make sure they are not white or sticky. How is he doing, still laying down?
How far would you have to drive to the nearest town with another vet or perhaps a university vet hospital? You said your vet tested on liver shunt, did he/she do a bile acid test? If so, what were the numbers? |
