I agree with everything said above!!

I just wanted to add, please spay your girl, it will prevent a lot of heartache in the end!!

My first dog was a golden retriever. My parents got her when I was about 3 years old. I grew up with her.
We didn't know that you should spay your dog and the dangers that came when you don't.
At 12 years old she ended up getting pyometra. She had to have an emergency spay. Although it saved her life at the time, she never fully recovered and went down hill from there on.

So you see it is very important to get them spayed/neuter to prevent problems like these that develop from not getting it done. I will never forget the experience and will always have my non breeding dogs spayed/neutered from now on.
