This happened to my sisters silky last June and this past Feb. Vet said it sounds like she wad having discharge from being in heat, but she is spayed. We have wait until June to see if it happens again, if so they will do a hormone blood test and she may have to have a special surgery to remove any remaining uterus parts.
Vet said it could have been a UTI, but the timing is weird... June and Feb sound more like a heat cycle...we just have to wait and see.
I would def bring her to the Vet, if the discharge is still there, try to leave it, as the Vet can swab it and test it.
