You'd be very surprised that YTCA breeder's pups are considerably less that what you'd pay from a Pet Store/BYBer/Puppy Mill. Breeder/Exhibitors breed very minimally/selectively (1 or 2 litters a year) for their next Champion to add to their breeding program. The sad thing is that they can't keep every puppy within the litter, so they place them in approved homes. It's not about the money, it's about finding that perfect home for their pups they don't keep.
