Oh my gosh, Darlene . Could he have gotten stuck in something for awhile and may have been struggling/flailing (hence the fur)? This could have triggered fight/flight and blood pressure changes. Did you try giving Nutrical or Karo? I would try this, just in case. And the vet obv didn't think head trauma? No nausea or anything?
