Unlike feces, urine is relatively sterile, you don't need to use a disinfectant, but you should use something that gets rid of the protein in urine, that's what attracts the dog to return to the spot. Over here we have products such as Nature's Miracle, which contains enzymes, which get rid of the protein, look for a product that says it contains "enzymes." Enzymes are good bacteria that actually eat the protein found in urine. They take time to work, but are very effective, especially on soft surfaces, where the protein cannot be just wiped away.
