All purebred dogs WERE crossbred to establish the breed. They are no longer cross bred if they were they would not be purebred.
Once a breed is established, you can only breed to that same breed, not to other dogs who were used to create the breed.
Biewers can be bred to traditional colored yorkies because they are Yorkie first Biewer second.
