Are you looking for a Biewer? Do you just want a pet?

Most rescue's will not rescue to anyone outside the United States or even cross state lines...but the OP never said she wanted a dog but maybe was just asking a question?

I personally believe $2000 is to much for a pet. Most reputable breeders will hold onto a show hopeful or a dog used for breeding. If the puppy does not work out then they try to find a wonderful pet home for their dogs and do not charge and arm and a leg...you just have to know your breeder.
