I wondered if anyone else has encountered this. I took my dog for her well visit today and found out she tested positive for Lyme Disease. This is an indoor dog...she is typically frontlined but hasn't been during the winter. We live in a rural area with a lot of deer but she doesn't go out much at all.
The vet would like me to put her on antibiotics for 30 days...I will get another opinion this week to make sure she really tested postive but does anyone have any direct experience with this? I would love to hear about how you made out. I forgot to mention that the dog is asymptomatic currently.
