The metal ones look great and not easy to climb, but I have wood floors and I am afraid it will scratch them.

I have never had any problem with ours trying to climb out of the XPen they are quite content when they have to be put into it.

I bought three of them set up in different locations at home, they seem to like the hexagon shape, I do too as I can place them in a corner.

I know how anxious you are for your new little one to come home, I sure miss getting in to read the forums these days, I do try to get in to read our profile and pm's daily.

Look forward to hearing about homecoming of your new baby. Getting a furbaby is so exciting.
