Duke was just about 4 mos when he was neutered. They sent him home with pain meds which we only used for about 2 days. He was very sleepy and quiet when I first got him home. I could tell he was sore. He just layed in his crate. The first time he tried to walk he cried and was almost limping from being sore.
Let me tell you....later that night after some pain meds he was chasing our big dog all over the house, we had a hard time keeping him settled and quiet.
By the next day you wouldn't even know he had surgery. They didn't send him home with a cone either.
